Celebrating 30 years in business, The Orchard was officially opened in 1987 as a garden nursery business by owner and horticulturist, Gerry Dooley, a Botanic Gardens graduate.

Over time, it has evolved to become a 5-Star Gold Retail experience inclusive of a garden centre, outdoor living showrooms, home interiors area, a gifts emporium, a pet shop, and an authentic 200 seat café.

This multi-award winning destination is located on the Dublin Road, Celbridge, just 10 minutes from Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. With 220 parking spaces, the entire centre, which is wheelchair friendly, is situated within a unique semi-circular 5 acre victorian walled garden and is now proudly employing 110 staff.

In the garden area, an expert team of horticulturists are available to advise on every aspect of a customer’s garden this spring season. Their knowledge and experience have established The Orchard as one of Ireland’s leading garden centres, where 73% of the plants on offer are grown and sourced in Ireland, the remainder from Europe.

Renowned for its homemade food, The Orchard Café has become a favourite meeting-place for families, friends, and business people, enjoying the delicious food on offer. The menu includes breakfast from 9 to 12pm with hot lunch served from 12 to 5pm, while Maria’s delicious desserts are served all day.

The extensive outdoor living and garden furniture showrooms offers the complete outdoor entertaining solution with a host of internationally renowned brands in stock.

The Orchard is also home to Ireland’s first-ever Weber World Store. The home interiors department features elegant room settings, created by The Orchards’s professional team of room set designers, displaying interior and giftware items in a relaxed ambience while their pet store provides for all your dog, cat, wild bird, fish, and small animals’ needs.
