National Conifer Week 2017 gives Garden Centres a chance to promote conifers and drive sales of this unique plant.

This year’s National Conifer Week takes place from 30 September – 7 October 2017, encouraging garden centres around the country to embrace the beauty of conifers, and highlight them using eye catching displays, to demonstrate the variety and choice of conifers available.
Conifers have several advantages for all types of garden; many have good aesthetic qualities, they are low maintenance and they provide structure and colour all year round.
No matter what outside space you have available, there will be a conifer to suit, to bring colour and texture throughout the year. With so many varieties available, they can add drama, whether as a backdrop, a standalone feature, or in a border with other plants.
They are extremely versatile, available in an amazingly diverse range of shades, textures, shapes and sizes. A potted conifer can be used to brighten up a doorstep or balcony, whilst planted conifers can create height and add fantastic accent pieces to any garden
