Huntington Castle to host Rare & Special Plant Fair
40 specialist nurseries will be on site to showcase beautiful, unusual and hard-to-find varieties

Huntington Castle and Gardens, Clonegal, Co. Carlow is to host the 2023 Rare and Special Plant Fair.
Taking place on 14 May, 40 specialist nurseries from across Ireland will be on site to offer and showcase beautiful, unusual and hard-to-find varieties of plants for sale, as well as provide expert advice on care and growing.
The Fair was established in 2001 with the assistance of Bord Bia to ensure that the gardening public has the opportunity to purchase rare, unusual and special plants at reasonable prices, and to ensure that nurseries and breeders have an opportunity to present them for sale.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm with tickets starting from €7.
