Husqvarna launches new generation of 560 XP, 562 XP chainsaw
20 April 2023
Power tools manufacturer Husqvarna has launched a new generation of 560 XP and 562 XP chainsaw.
The new generation is developed on a completely new platform where one of the key objectives has been to keep and further enhance manoeuvrability, with the eye set on increasing productivity.
Both chainsaws are designed for superior movement. A key aspect for increased manoeuvrability is the narrow chainsaw body that brings the front handle closer to the centre of gravity of the saw. Meaning it is easier to move the saw from side to side. With its slim design, and excellent power-to-weight ratios, the new saws deliver exceptional manoeuvrability. Tree care and forestry professionals alike will find these chainsaws easy to handle in various working positions throughout the day.
The Mark II is developed on a new platform where one of the key aspects has been to further refine the manoeuvrability from previous generation.
“Manoeuvrability is all about details. We’ve done immense work in gaining the best working experience and the best ergonomics. By doing that we increase control and working becomes less tiring at the end,” said Anders Lundberg, product director tree professionals, Husqvarna.
One of the most impressive features of the new chainsaws is their trustworthy endurance. Improved cooling and filtration ensure that these chainsaws can tackle even the toughest jobs without breaking a sweat. Furthermore, the easy operation of the chainsaws is guaranteed by Simple Start Technology and AutoTuneTM 3.0, allowing professionals to focus on their work rather than worrying about the chainsaw.
“At Husqvarna, we understand the importance of creating robust high-quality equipment that can withstand the demands of our industry. The new chainsaws are designed for professionals and are sure to exceed their expectations. With their slim design, exceptional manoeuvrability, and reliable performance, these chainsaws are the perfect addition to any logger’s toolkit,” said Lundberg.
No compromises have been made during the development of the Mark II. When it comes to performance the new chainsaws have a redesigned engine with an improved torque setting at lower engine speed. This means that you will be able to put more pressure on the saw during cuts without stalling the engine.
The engine has a better combustion efficiency, which will be noticed on the fuel consumption with up to 8 % reduction of fuel vs first generation. The new engine design provides higher productivity and lower cost of ownership compared with previous generation.
