SIVAL 2026 overview
As a platform and crossroads for innovation and concrete solutions, SIVAL is a place for exchanges that are directly relevant to the challenges of the future

The SIVAL – specialized plant production show took place this week at the Angers exhibition center in France.
This year, no fewer than 700 exhibitors – including 80 new ones – were expected to cover 34,000 m², divided into the following sectors: machinery and equipment, post-harvest equipment, packaging, conservation, handling, tied with inputs, protected crops, services including banking, consultancy, and seeds, seedlings and new technologies.
SIVAL is the only show in France to offer a complete, high-performance range of equipment and services for specialized plant production.
This trade show is also a platform for exchange and information for the entire sector, with a rich and targeted conference program (100 conferences and forums with over 150 expert speakers).
This year’s major new feature – the “Roots of the Future” podcast, co-produced with CTIFL was launched on Tuesday morning. Visitors were able to watch the first four episodes in the ‘La Scène’ area (Episode 1: “Planting the future”, Episode 2: “Climate”, Episode 3: “Useful innovation” Episode 4: “From field to planet”).
SIVAL is also a show that responds to the future challenges of production, focused on innovation and the agriculture of tomorrow: hosting young innovative companies, SIVAL Innovation competition, and AGreen Défi emergence competition.
The event welcomes nearly 1,250 foreign visitors (63 nationalities) and 17% of exhibitors are from abroad. To reinforce its international reach, SIVAL is carrying out a number of initiatives, including the following:
- organization with VEGEPOLYS VALLEY of the international business convention VIBE (500 BtoB meetings organized in 2024),
- hosting international delegations,
- the presence offoreign speakers and experts in the show’s conference program,
- the Fruit 2050 event, held every other year, a forward-looking meeting dedicated to sector fruit professionals in Europe on the future of fruit production
