A spring-loaded battery release system adds to the ease of operation.

Cutting width of the PRO 43B is 43 centimetres and there is a choice of seven cutting heights from 22 to 80 millimetres, easily set by a central lever. The mower comes with a 45-litre capacity grass bagger that features a simple TurboStar “bag full” indicator flag, and a height adjustable handlebar that can be folded for storage. Overall weight with an empty bagger is 32kg.

Ransomes Jacobsen – Stand H090

Ransomes Jacobsen will be showcasing the revised model of the Highway 3 triple cylinder mower on stand H090 at SALTEX 2019. The lightweight mower is popular in the commercial market and is well known for its high work rate, slope stability and manoeuvrability. To increase the mower’s already impressive output, drive train improvements have been made to boost the overall efficiency and compliment the Euro Stage V compliance.

Toro – Stand H010

New to Reesink Turfcare’s product lineup and launching at SALTEX 2019 are two outfront rotary mowers from Toro’s next-generation GM3000 series for 2020.

There are two engine models: a 24.7hp and a 37.4hp, both Stage V emissions compliant, with options of a 152-centimetre (60-inch) or 183-centimetre (72-inch) rear, side, recycling, and flail cutting decks. Both benefit from a transport speed of 22km/h to move between sites efficiently and a large 45.4 litre fuel capacity to maximize mowing time between refuelling. Also, Toro’s CrossTrax all-wheel drive system provides automatic traction control, shifting power to the wheels in slippery conditions.

Toro has focused particular attention on the durability of the deck in the design of this new series. With 4.5 millimetre high strength steels decks, rugged spindles, a bullnose bumper, and reinforced sideskids, the improvements made are aimed at longevity and reduced downtime. And with rotary and flail cutting deck options providing flexibility and value, it’s easy to see why Toro believes this to be the next generation of the outfront rotary.

AriensCo – Stand F041

AriensCo will be exhibiting their complete range of zero-turn mowers at SALTEX 2019. On display will be the IKON-X, APEX, and the all-new ZENITH for professionals, together with the ZOOM domestic zero-turn.

The all-new Ariens ZENITH 60 is designed for the professional looking for all day, everyday use from their mower. It’s packed with commercial grade features and provides maximum performance with its large 152-centimetre (60-inch) cutting deck and faster ground speed. The steel frame supports a folding rollover protection structure (ROPS), fitted as standard, for added protection and peace of mind.

King Feeders – Stand H085

King Feeders UK are pleased to announce the launch of their new Ecogreen compact mobile screener at SALTEX 2019 in October. A real breakthrough for landscaping and contracting groundscare businesses requiring compost and woodchip screening on the move, the screener can be legally towed behind a typical 4×4 pick-up, or similar vehicle, with a 3.5 tonne capacity. It can be built to be trailer loaded, or it can be trailed with its own axle and draw bar. The innovative design offers the option of standard legs, where it can be easily moved by a fork-lift, or the screener can be supplied with hydraulic legs.

The Ecogreen screener offers a simple, reliable, and economic solution to a wide range of requirements, with a quick release screening drum and choice of meshes. The aggressive drum ensures fast, efficient operation, with low running cost per tonne. The machine is easily driven by the power take-off (PTO) of a small compact tractor and it’s also available with diesel or electric drive.

The hopper comes with a steel feed conveyor, so there is no need for the continual adjustment required with a rubber belt. The screener is compact for easy access into confined spaces, robust in construction, and suitable for one-man operation.

Elevators are available for trommel fines removal after screening and separation, and there is an optional brush for wet material.  The Ecogreen screener can be easily incorporated into a bunker system and designed to individual specification if required.

Ego – Stand J062

Aiming to show groundscare volunteers and professionals smarter solutions to power through gardening and landscaping tasks, minus the petrol, EGO will be giving SALTEX visitors a first look at the latest additions to its state-of-the-art product range, ahead of launching in Europe in 2020.

The brand will be offering guests a chance to see its brand new self-propelled battery mower and chainsaw.

MAJOR – Stand J112

The new 7.3 metre Swift roller mower. Phil Cole at Cotswold Turf Care knows a good mower when he sees one. “The MAJOR Swift is a great performer and always leaves an excellent finish.”, said Cole. He’s been maintaining the grounds at Cirencester Park Polo Club for nearly 30 years, so is particular that the turf provides a safe yet fast playing surface.

The exceptional double-wing design of the new MJ71-730T increases productivity and efficiency without compromising on the quality of cut. Cole continued: “The front and rear rollers ensure we leave a level and striped finish at precisely the right height of cut, every time. It levels the ground back down to its original condition after we’ve had eight or 10 horses running over it.

“Because it’s made of high-strength Strenx steel, it’s lightweight and avoids compaction, which is beneficial to maintain the best ground condition. For a big machine, it is far more manoeuvrable than I expected – it can turn on a sixpence. It is also a very low consumer of power, therefore more economical with fuel.”

Infinicut – Stand H075

Visitors to stand H075 at SALTEX will be some of the first to see the brand new SM34 Rotary Mower from INFINICUT. Swiftly settling into the INFINICUT stable alongside the renowned range of fixed and floating head cylinder mowers, the SM34 has set a new industry standard for rotary cut quality. There will also be the opportunity to learn all about the new machine in the Eco Village demonstration area.

Agria UK – Stand D097

Agria UK is a new sister company to Wiedenmann UK and introduces two unique hybrid remote-controlled rotary mulching mowers with immediate effect.

Both Agria machines offer Hybrid-Drive-Concept, making them more efficient and environmentally friendly than hydraulic concepts.

The Agria 9600, with its low centre of gravity and rubber tracks, powers safely through heavy duty work on steep slopes to 50 degrees. In two widths, 112 centimetres and 80 centimetres, it cuts and mulches in two directions and is effortless on a variety of applications, including fine turf.

The Agria 9500 is a remote-controlled compact mower which performs to a very capable 45 degrees. With brushless motors and electro-mechanical braking it takes manoeuvrability to a new level. Zero-turn, it has a working width of 70 centimetres and takes problem areas in its stride.

Etesia – Stand C085

Etesia will be launching three new products on their new stand number C085 at SALTEX 2019. The new products will include a ride-on mower, the new facelift Attila brushcutters and electric wheelbarrow. Full details will be announced on the first day of the show on October 30.

Pellenc – Stand C085

Pellenc UK has chosen SALTEX 2019 to launch four new battery-powered hand tools on their new stand location C085. Full details are being kept under wraps until the show opens on October 30 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham, but visitors will be excited to hear that a new pedestrian mower and ULiB will be two of the new products to join the portfolio.

GBK – Stand H051

The GKB Top-Clean is a full mechanic, self-driven machine that removes all kind of dirt from the top of a synthetic pitch, from cigarettes, leaves, and papers to plastic bottles. This machine can easily be connected to almost every tractor by using a standard three-point hitch or electric drawbar. Using a high driving speed (around 10 km/h) will result in a perfect looking artificial pitch that you can be proud of.

Designed as a full self-driven machine, Top-Clean’s two rubber wheels at the front ensure that the machine will roll softly across the artificial pitch. Not only this, but a rotary brush is connected with the wheels by a chain drive. You can determine the speed of the brushes with the driving speed.

During operation debris and infill will come on a vibrating sieve. This sieve will separate infill material from the debris and thanks to the vibration of the sieve, all pollution moves to the bins at the end. The bins can then be easily removed and emptied in a regular waste container.
