Green-tech invites specifiers and built-environment professionals to a free climate-resilience design event in Dublin, taking place on the 5th March at Croke Park’s All Star Suite.

The event will bring together landscape architects, engineers, designers, planners and local authority professionals to explore practical, climate-positive design solutions for urban environments. It will run from 9.30am to 2pm and includes refreshments and lunch.

Led by the Green-tech Specifier team and joined by leading industry experts Dusty Gedge, leading green infrastructure professional and Aebhin Cawley, MD of Scott Cawley ecology consultancy.

The roadshow will provide insight into how coordinated, integrated design approaches can help cities respond to climate pressures while delivering long-term environmental and social value.

Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how early-stage design decisions can influence climate-resilience outcomes, along with real-world examples of solutions that support flood mitigation, urban cooling, biodiversity net gain, and sustainable water management.

The event is designed to be informative, collaborative and accessible, offering delegates the opportunity to engage directly with Green-tech’s specification specialists and discuss current challenges facing projects across Ireland and the wider UK.

Key themes covered during the event will include:

  1. Coordinated planning of blue green infrastructure,
  2. Effective water management and reuse in urban settings,
  3. Practical approaches to SuDS in design,
  4. How to leverage opportunities for biodiversity within constrained urban environments.
