Green-tech hosted the Confor North Regional Committee Meeting, welcoming forestry and woodland sector representatives from across the region to their premises in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

The event brought together Confor committee members, industry partners and invited guests for a morning of discussion on key regional priorities, followed by a tour of Green-tech’s operational facility and a woodland site visit at Lotherton, organised by Tilhill.

“It was a real pleasure to welcome Confor’s North Regional Committee to Green-tech. Days like this are invaluable for bringing the sector together to share insight, discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead, and see first-hand how practical solutions can support woodland management and the wider supply chain,” Adam Topliss, hosting on behalf of Green-tech Ltd, said.

The meeting focused on current policy and market issues affecting forestry and woodland management, including timber market conditions, sector updates, and developments impacting woodland owners and businesses.

“It is an excellent opportunity for members to share regional updates, discuss current market and policy issues and take part in an open visit that highlights both operational best practice and practical woodland delivery,” John Bruce, national manager England at Confor, said.

Delegates were able to see Green-tech’s operations in action, with a site tour of the offices and extensive warehousing facilities. This was followed by a woodland visit to explore real-world application of materials and discuss woodland management and delivery on-site.
