Cultivating Talent deadline extended for Bord Bia Bloom 2025

Bord Bia Bloom is an annual garden and horticultural event in Ireland that celebrates the best of garden design, creativity, and sustainability.

Held in Phoenix Park, Dublin, the event is known for its beautiful show gardens, created by Ireland’s top garden designers and horticulturists.

These show gardens are the highlight of the event, not only for their beauty but also for the important messages they convey about sustainability, biodiversity, conservation, and health and wellness.

Who can apply

Bord Bia Bloom invites experienced garden designers and horticulturists to apply to design a show garden for the event.

In addition, the Cultivating Talent Initiative is aimed at emerging garden designers and those starting their careers in horticulture.

Applications for designing a show garden at Bord Bia Bloom must be submitted online by Monday, 2 December, at 1:00 PM.

The Cultivating Talent Initiative offers emerging designers the chance to receive financial support and one-to-one mentoring to help them bring their first show garden to life.

The Cultivating Talent programme, launched in 2022, continues to support emerging garden designers by offering financial support and mentoring.

Sponsored by Westland Horticulture, applicants are invited to demonstrate how they will bring a corner of earth to life at Bloom 2025.

This initiative is designed to help the next generation of designers bring their vision to the event.
