Aspiring horticulturists have just two days left to enter the Young Horticulturist of the Year 2025 competition, with the chance to win prizes and career-boosting opportunities

Aspiring horticulturists have just two days left to enter the Young Horticulturist of the Year 2025 competition, with the chance to win incredible prizes and career-boosting opportunities.

The prestigious competition offers students under 30 the opportunity to compete for the £2,500 (€3,014) Percy Thrower Trust Travel Bursary, funding a horticultural trip anywhere in the world.

With a prize pool exceeding £8,000 (€9,649), entrants also stand to win cash prizes, tools, and more, while gaining valuable experience and networking opportunities.

The winner will earn the title of Young Horticulturist of the Year and compete in the Grand Final at the Historic Royal Palace Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

Students under 30 can enter here.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 28 February.
