The Horticulture Industry Forum (HIF) will host a special “Town Hall” meeting in Celbridge on 12th November, personally hosted by Minister for Horticulture Michael Healy-Rae.

This meeting has been called to give all growers the opportunity to engage with the minister with responsibility for horticulture and meet the sector representatives who represent their interests.

During the grower meeting there will be updates from the IFA, DAFM and Bord Bia as well as opportunity for discussion and engagement.

In addition there will be information stands representing organisations and DAFM divisions responsible for financing, grant schemes and quality marks.

The HIF committee meets twice a year and the HIF sub committee meets every month to drive forward the horticulture sector in Ireland.

10:50am – Strategy & Insights – updates from Bord Bia and DAFM

11:20am – Meet Your Sector Representatives and Sector updates

12:00pm – Informal networking over coffee & pastries

12:40pm – Ministerial Response & Discussion
