Laser DUSTER hits the market to tackle rising pest problems

The makers of Cooper Pegler sprayers have introduced the Laser DUSTER, a lightweight and durable powder applicator designed for pest controllers dealing with wasps, ants, and other crawling insects
1 April 2025
The makers of Cooper Pegler sprayers have released details of a new powder applicator chiefly aimed at the pest control sector.
Dusts or powders are applied to treat pests such as wasps, ants and other crawling insects.
Under its’ Laser Industrie brand which offers specialty compression sprayers for food hygiene, pest control, disinfection, automotive and agri use – the sprayer manufacturing specialists have brought out a new model for 2025; the Laser DUSTER.
While 2024 was a quiet year for insect powder products largely thanks to incessant rainfall, 2025 could be set for a jump in wasp and insect infestations with replacement products for FICAM D yet to prove their effectiveness.
The DUSTER is a lightweight hand pump – made in Europe and rated to 3 Bar pressure (tested to 9 Bar) and scheduled to be available in 3.5L or 5L tank sizes.
A bespoke brass curved lance comes as standard and its main fittings are compatible with Berthoud and Hozelock products, allowing access to replacement parts & accessories like spray shields or telescopic lances upto 3.6m tall.
The Duster is undergoing field trials now with selected pest controllers and it is expected to be offered with a telescopic lance and a flexible tip to bend into crevices or awkward gaps under roof tiles.
Laser Industrie, just like its fellow established brands of Berthoud and Cooper Pegler, guarantees that parts & accessories are available for 10 years after ceasing production of a sprayer – meaning a low suggested retail price provides a long-lived bargain for regular or occasional dust application.
For more information, contact your local Cooper Pegler or Berthoud supplier in Ireland.
