Leicester City FC Training Ground recently played host to a gathering of turf professionals.
Turf Science Live, an event organised by ICL and Syngenta, offers a platform for green keepers and groundsmen to dive deep into the latest in turf management.
With over 100 attendees from sporting venues all over the UK, they were divided into four groups to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
Attendees had the opportunity to showcase their golfing skills with a putting competition on the site, to add a friendly touch of competition to the day.
The seminar had four core stations including research to results, environmentally friendly outfield nutrition, integrated turf pest management and biological tools for turf management.
Prizes were awarded to the competition winners and attendees had the opportunity to walk on one of the football pitches.
