On October 19, 2023, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, Teagasc will host their Nursery Stock Seminar at the Ashtown Food Research Centre.

This seminar provides professionals with the opportunity to connect with industry experts and explore innovative solutions for challenges in nursery stock.

The sessions throughout the day will include the latest innovations in plant production, challenges, barriers and opportunities in nursery stock.

Teagasc’s own advisor, Dónall Flanagan, who specialises in nursery stock and ornamentals, will provide updates on apprenticeships, growing media research and the Teagasc plant protection web portal.

There will also be a chance to engage with speakers during a Q&A session.
