7 April 2022
Teagasc will host the 2022 Irish Hemp Event on 8 April at its Ashtown Food Research Centre, Dublin 15.
Organised by Hemp Cooperative Ireland in association with Teagasc, the conference will provide an opportunity for current and future industry stakeholders to get up close and personal as we survey innovations in hemp fibre, food, CBD, farming and processing equipment, technology, markets, and creative business models.
Running from 10am to 4pm, the event will explore hemp farming and processing technology; applications for hemp hurd; the promise of hemp food; CBD processing, products & markets, as well as CO2 and hemp’s role in the carbon markets.
It is hoped that the event will generate a body of content for broader distribution around the world and explore hemp’s potential as an engine for sustainable economic development.
