Having just spoken on the main stage at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, award-winning garden designer Peter Donegan returns to Limerick for a special series of talks and live demonstrations at D&M Garden Centre on Sunday, 27 July.
The event celebrates the garden centre’s 40 years of service to the community.
Four decades of growth
The event takes place at D&M Garden Centre, located in Ballycannon, Croagh.
What started as a small family business, with founders Dermot and Mary selling vegetables from their home and bedding plants from a van, has grown into one of Ireland’s leading garden centres.
Today, it is managed by their children, Tom and Ursula, along with Tom’s wife, Mags, and is also home to a highly regarded garden centre restaurant.
Practical design advice for gardeners
Donegan’s talks will focus on how gardeners can improve specific spaces, make the most of their budgets, and apply professional tips and tricks drawn from his award-winning show gardens and television projects.
The sessions will conclude with a live Question and Answer segment covering garden and plant design.
This is a unique opportunity for gardening enthusiasts and professionals alike to gain expert insights from one of the industry’s leading voices.
