Have your say in deciding who wins the Supplier of the Year award at GLAS 2023.
Held in association with Growtrade.ie, the Supplier of the Year award-winner will be chosen by members of the industry and crowned during the one-day trade event on 20 July.
Voting is open now. Your vote should be based on factors including one or a number of the following; quality and range of product, price, stock availability, usability of online presence, credit terms, loyalty programme, marketing, service and support.
Please note that employees of the companies that may be voted for as part of this survey are not allowed to vote.

2022 winner
Last year, Young Nurseries were crowned the inaugural winner of the Supplier of the Year award.
Speaking with Joe Young at GLAS 2022, he said: “It’s really nice to be recognised after the ordeals of the last number of years. Trying to grow the business during Covid-19 has been very difficult, but we have tremendous staff, we work very hard, and we try to give our customers the service that they need so that they can give it to their customers. Thankfully, that’s been recognised by the industry.”
As to what set Young Nurseries apart from the other suppliers, Young said: “We’ve made a lot of new improvements in the nursery, and we’ve adapted to new methods of growing without using chemicals,” says Young. “Over the last 12 years, we’ve been making significant changes, and we now use minimal amounts of chemicals. Plus, our growing methods have really improved with modernisations we’ve undertaken.”
GLAS 2023
GLAS is a trade only event for practitioners in the horticulture, garden retail, sportsturf, grounds maintenance and related industries. The annual trade show is set to return to the National Basketball Arena in Dublin on Thursday 20 July 2023.
