Clontarf environmental group – “Grow it Yourself” will be hosting a talk on: “Growing Fruit and Vegetables in your Garden”, by expert organic gardener Klaus Laitenberger on Saturday March 25th, at Belgrove Boys National School Hall, Seafield Road, Clontarf.

Laitenberger has published three books: “Vegetables for the Irish Garden”, “Vegetables and Herbs for the Greenhouse and Polytunnel” and “A Vegetable Grower’s Handbook” and currently works as an inspector for Organic Trust Ltd and as a lecturer at the MSc course in Organic Horticulture in Skibbereen with University College Cork.

This talk is suitable for people of all abilities from those new to growing to those with more experience wanting to learn more from an expert in the field.

The talk will take place from 6.30pm to 8pm and will cost €5 to attend, unless you are a parent of a child attending Belgrove N.S. for who it will be free.
