GLAS – Ireland’s number one amenity horticulture and sportsturf trade show is back in town boasting a new-look layout with over 130 exhibitors taking part in the one day event.

Proudly supported by Bord Bia, GLAS is an unrivalled opportunity for trade buyers and sellers in the amenity horticulture and sportsturf sectors, to meet and network around a showcase of the latest products and services on the market. This year the event opening hours have changed, running from 9am to 7pm, taking place on July 20th at the Citywest Events Centre.

With six successful years of growth, GLAS is now the premier national trade event for the amenity horticulture and sportsturf sectors in Ireland.

“Once again, with our full support, GLAS will promote the best in Irish horticulture in a business and networking environment, catering for senior buyers and decision makers in the retail, government and professional sectors.” said Carol Marks, development/marketing specialist horticulture, Bord Bia.

GLAS 2017 will feature a new-look New Product New Plant Showcase, Best in Show Awards, Retail Merchandising Experience, sportsturf village and machinery park an expanded learning theatre and more.

Following on from last year’s success, 95% of visitors surveyed said that their visit was worthwhile and 82% of those who attended plan on spending with an exhibitor as a result of their visit.

Over 1,000 visitors attended the one day event, including retail nursery buyers, landscape architects, garden designers, retail florists, garden centre professionals, landscape contractors, local authorities, and sportsturf professionals.

Over 90% of previous exhibitors have rebooked for GLAS 2017, while visitors can now pre-register in advance here. For more details now and over the coming months check out www.glasireland.ie/
