EUROPARC Conference 2020 will be an innovative two-day online event taking place September 8-9.
EUROPARC Conference 2020 will explore what skills and capacities Protected Areas need to implement the 2030 biodiversity strategy in the post-Covid-19 world.
Other issues that will be discussed during the conference will be:
- How do we ensure healthy parks, healthy people in peri-urban Europe?
- Sustainable tourism: are we ready for ecotourism as the new future?
- How can Protected Areas incorporate climate change into their management practices?
- How can Protected Areas implement the EUROPARC Youth manifesto to ensure young people take part in the decision-making processes?
Attendees will have the ability to connect and network with colleagues from across Europe across the two day-event. Together with that, the conference will provide interested parties with the ability to address their colleagues.
The “Speaker’s Corner” will be open to EUROPARC Federation members and conference delegates, to come and present their work to their peers.
The interactive session will be a great opportunity to learn and discuss protected area matters. These slots are open to exchange views and ideas about specific conservation practices. This is an opportunity to present project results or highlight current initiatives in a 20-minute session.
