Event to celebrate 50 years of Kildalton Agricultural College set for next month

Teagasc will host an open day of the College and its enterprises celebrating 50 years of land based education

Teagasc is to host an event in celebration of Kildalton Agricultural College on Saturday, 25 June.

Taking place from 11am to 4pm, the event will bring together past students and staff and the wider public to reflect on the changes and celebrate the achievements.

Planned activities include a walk through the historic estate grounds, afternoon tea on the lawn, the burial of time capsule. There will also be five rooms displaying photos and articles from each of the past five decades that help to demonstrate how the campus and enterprises have developed.
