Exclusive: Sanctuary Synthetics to launch artificial grass prop rentals in-store and online this Friday

Sanctuary Synthetics has often rented out many of the props they have accumulated over the years for corporate events, media production, and other uses, however, they are now extending the service to all of their customers.

Sanctuary Synthetics has confirmed they will make their prop rentals available to all of their customers both online and in store from Friday, October 13.

Announcing early in July that they will be releasing their artificial grass props to the public, Sanctuary Synthetics has set the date for this Friday.

As an artificial grass company Sanctuary Synthetics has had demand over the years for once off rentals for corporate events, festivals, and tv and film.

To date, Sanctuary Synthetics has worked with Coca-Cola, Google, Facebook, and Dublin Corporation to name a few and have recently been working with Ardmore Studios, the makers of Penny Dreadful.

Now looking to make their rentals available to all of their customers, Mark O’Loughlin, owner of Sanctuary Synthetics said: “Recently I began to think it was time to formalise our rental offerings. We are going to have a dedicated space on our website, most of our fake grass pieces will be available to view here in Grassland and all of them will be on the website.

“Rentals are a slightly different animal to sales and we have certain terms and conditions regarding the grasses use. Naturally sometimes we might decline if we feel that things might get a little bit crazy; cigarette butts, damage, that sort of thing.”

You can rent Sanctuary Synthetics’ artificial grass in three pile heights: 40/25/20mm from as little as €8 per sq mtr per day.

“We work with an artist over in Bristol who helps with the more artistic ventures. Sanctuary Synthetics also work with a model maker who made Rodge and Podge. He likes to make animals and humans covered in artificial grass. A current example would be Mr and Mrs Grassland. Naturally we are now looking at finishing off the family with introducing a couple of children.”, O’Loughlin concluded.
