Morgan’s Garden Centre is a traditional family business, founded over 30 years ago by Carmel and Liam Morgan.
It started out as a small wholesale growing business in Carlow town centre, later moving to a large site on the outskirts of town where it organically developed into the large retail operation it is today.
A glasshouse and growing tunnels were purchased which became the growing centre of the business. To this day, thousands of bedding and vegetable plants are grown annually for retail within the garden centre.
Morgan’s are proud of their reputation for the highest quality, house-grown plants as well as sourcing top quality shrubs, trees, roses, fruit and herbaceous plants from top Irish and European growers.
They travel regularly to nurseries, hand selecting quality plants – only retailing plants that they would be happy to purchase themselves.
Alongside the garden centre, there is a design-led gift shop, where customers can browse through beautiful and exclusive products from around Ireland and Europe.
The garden shop is within this area, where everything for the amateur and professional gardener is available.
Morgan’s has a small, dedicated team, happy to assist and provide excellent service to their customers, many of who have been with them from the early days trading on the local market.
