Garden Connect is exhibiting at the GLAS Show at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin on the 20th of July for the 4th year in a row. “GLAS is the biggest show for Irish garden centres so neither you or we can afford to miss this one, can we?”

Garden Connect has been providing online services to many Irish garden centres for years. Among the growing customer base are garden centres like Fernhill in Athlone who have been running an e-commerce site with Garden Connect since 2012. Recently O’Mearas renewed their website with Garden Connect while Blackwater, Listowel and many others have been using the services of Garden Connect for years.

Flexible Platform

One of the unique services Garden Connect offers is a fully integrated platform. In the back end, webshops and loyalty solutions can be integrated with any EPoS or CRM software. Garden Connect has a team of 12 developers who are experienced making these integrations. While in the front end, integrations can be made with any payment provider, Amazon, Google Shopping and other platforms.

Garden centres are not tied down to one system but can pick the best of both worlds: an excellent EPoS system can be integrated with an excellent e-commerce platform.

It’s not about technique, however

The technique can be provided by a lot of companies but one of the USP’s Garden Connect offers to Irish garden centres is the content. With over 10,000 plant photos, hundreds of gardening tips, weekly news items, and product range texts; it’s easy to keep a website up to date: this saves time and will help to attract more customers.

Apart from content, the online marketing services of Garden Connect will help to get more traffic via Google, improve return on Google AdWords campaigns, and increase conversion rates on webshops.

The founder of Garden Connect, Edwin Meijer, will not only be showcasing his business at GLAS on July 20th, he will also be presenting a seminar on “7 ways to get more customers via the internet.” at GLAS’ Learning Theatre, supported by Bord Bia.

Edwin will kick-off the seminars at 10:30am and will be followed by Dr Clare Sampson and Neil Helyer who will discuss safe, smart, and sustainable pest control; Grace Binchy who will discuss Bord Bia’s recent “Gardener of the Future” report, from Bord Bia’s “The Thinking House”; and Joe O’Meara who will discuss 21st Century non-intrusive drainage solutions.
