SALTEX 2023: A vital gathering for grounds care professionals

Visitors from 58 countries attended SALTEX immersing themselves in the latest market innovations

SALTEX, the annual event for professionals in the groundscare industry, attracted diverse visitors over two days who explored exhibitors, gained technical insights, and networked.

Visitors from 58 countries attended SALTEX, immersing themselves in the latest market innovations and engaging in informative Learning LIVE sessions.

Callum Allsopp, Senior Sports Turf and grounds manager at Leicester City Football Club, attended a ‘Managing Up’ session and used the event to scout new products. He emphasised SALTEX’s significance for planning and seeking out innovations.

Exhibitors like Trimax Mowing System seized SALTEX as their primary platform for launching new innovations. Caroline Shaw, Trimax’s Global Brand Manager, noted the event’s continuous visitor flow and their intent to return.

Geoff Webb, chief executive officer, Grounds Management Association, said: ““The atmosphere across both days was brilliant, it’s great to see the international appeal of SALTEX continue to grow year on year.

“SALTEX this year was all about Boosting Your Game and, in doing so, SALTEX has also boosted the industry. Through supporting all attendees in boosting everything from your knowledge, skills, sales, surface and network, our industry will leave
SALTEX stronger and more connected.”

Webb went on to thank contributors and looked forward to welcoming the industry back in 2024. SALTEX’s next edition is scheduled for 30-31 October, 2024, at the NEC, promising another enlightening event for the groundscare industry.
