Nangle and Niesen got fully into the swing of things this year in Bloom, by helping in the construction of the Silver Gilt winning “Well centred” garden. The garden was designed by the hugely experienced garden designer, Hugh Ryan, and proved to a big hit with the public and judges alike.

The garden was an oasis of calm in a world of chaos and its soothing affect was immediate, in particular when you were in its centre. The inner circle was surrounded by 65 majestic Betula utilis Jacquemontii (Himalayan Birch) that gave a striking affect.

Ronan Nangle, Managing Director of Nangle and Niesen wholesale tree nursery, noted “It was our first serious foray into Bloom and we were delighted with the end result. Hugh was fantastic to work with. Being involved in a small way in the garden build was great fun and the whole experience was great for our team”. He added that he was happy to be able to leave the madness behind after one day and go back to the peace of the nursery in Cork!
