Green-tech in County Derry celebrates one year since opening its trade depot, marking growth and dedication to sustainable landscaping in Ireland.

Green-tech’s trade depot in County Derry, a subsidiary of Origin Enterprises has quickly become a key resource for landscapers, contractors, and foresters in need of professional materials.

Green-tech marks its 30th anniversary this year, attributing its success in Ireland to a comprehensive product range tailored to Irish customers’ needs. The depot stocks a wide range of landscaping essentials, including tree planting, grass seed, irrigation, and erosion control materials, both traditional and biodegradable options to enable customers to create beautiful outdoor spaces while reducing environmental impact.

Green-tech’s tree planting solutions are highly sought-after for both rural and urban projects in Ireland. From aiding reforestation efforts in rural areas to enhancing green spaces in urban environments, these products play a crucial role in fostering sustainable landscapes across the country.

Richard Gill, sales director, Green-tech, said: “Our steadfast commitment to delivering excellence remains unwavering. We extend our gratitude to our customers and anticipate continued growth and innovation in the years ahead.”

Green-tech’s partnership with Origin NI enhances its ability to serve Irish customers efficiently. Orders are packed and distributed by local staff across Ireland, with sales support and technical advice provided by a team at Green-tech’s head office in North Yorkshire.

Regular visits by the sales team ensure customer satisfaction. The trade depot provides a convenient source for premium landscaping and forestry supplies, catering to a wide range of project sizes and needs, from large-scale endeavours to private gardens.

“Our journey in Ireland has been immensely gratifying, and we are eager to embark on the next chapter. Together with our customers and partners, we will continue to shape the landscape industry’s future, one sustainable solution at a time” Gill concludes.
