All the winners of the Garden Landscape and Amenity Sportsturf (GLAS) awards have been announced.

Proudly supported by Bord Bia, the one-day trade show returned to the National Basketball Arena in Dublin on 20 July. The event features exhibits, displays and demos from more than 80 of the industry’s leading suppliers – both indoors and in our newly expanded outdoor area.

The GLAS New Product New Plant Award winners, with thanks to our judges, Anna Kavanagh, independent horticulture consultant and James Spillane of Westland Horticulture are:

New Plant Award – Ball Colegrave for their Begonia Hula.
New Product Award – Wildflowers.ie for its “Raised Bog Restoration Seed Mix”.

We are also happy to announce the GLAS Best in Show Award winners. These awards are judged by the GLAS show director and Carol Marks from Bord Bia.

The winner of the Best in Show Horticulture Stand Award for GLAS 2023 is O’Dowd Nurseries.
The Best in Show Trade Supplier Award winner at GLAS 2023 is Evergreen.

Supplier of the year

Finally, we are excited to announce the winner of the GLAS Supplier of the Year Award for 2023. As voted by the visitors of GLAS and subscribers of Growtrade.ie. With double the number of votes cast this year versus last, the winner of the 2023 GLAS Supplier of the Year Award is Moasure.

Congratulations to all of the team at Moasure and indeed to all of our winners.

Alexion partners with Hometree to restore Ireland’s Atlantic rainforests
Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, has announced a partnership with environmental charity Hometree to accelerate the regeneration of Atlantic rainforests in Ireland.
