ILI practical exams to be held

The Irish Landscape Institute is to hold its Professional Practice Exam on Saturday 16th April. The deadline for applications is due to close on 26th February with late applications being accepted until March 11th at an additional cost.
According to the ILI the purpose of the Professional Practice Examination “is to establish a candidate’s fitness to be admitted to full professional membership of the Irish Landscape Institute”. The exam is a means of establishing whether a candidate has attained an appropriate level of technical and professional competence in professional practice.
In order to be eligible to take the exam, applicants must hold graduate membership of the Irish Landscape Institute. Candidates must have at least two years work experience in order to qualify to take the examination. According to the ILI the appropriateness of the experience will be judged by the education committee based on the Work Experience Record Book which must be submitted by the candidate.
