Tickets are now available for the AIPH International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) Awards, which will take place 25 January 2022 at the Atlantic Hotel alongside IPM Essen, Germany.

Supported by Headline Sponsor Royal FloraHolland, the 12th edition of the AIPH IGOTY Awards celebrates the achievements in ornamental production. The new reception style format for the event allows a greater opportunity to reconnect with industry colleagues from across the globe and celebrate the winners and finalists in person.

Following a drinks reception, the awards will be presented for the four categories: Cut Flowers and Bulbs, Young Plants, Finished Plants and Trees, and the Sustainability Award.

From among these categories, only one winner will be crowned the ‘AIPH International Grower of the Year 2022’ and receive the most coveted prize ‘Gold Rose’. An esteemed jury of horticultural industry experts have assessed entrants and the shortlist of nominees will be announced in December.

AIPH has also partnered with Jungle Talks for the inaugural ‘Young International Grower of the Year’ Award. Participants of Jungle Talks’ Pro Manager Mastercourse will have a chance to pitch to the jury at the awards event.

AIPH secretary general Tim Briercliffe said: “We are looking forward to being able to celebrate the IGOTY awards face-to-face again. This year we have created an even more accessible event. This reception style event will still come with plenty of food and drink but comes at a lower ticket price so even more industry colleagues can celebrate with the winners.”
