Growtrade, currently under development, is a Bord Bia-sponsored initiative aimed at
creating a marketing portal for wholesale horticulture growers. Using passwords to control trade-only access, here's how it works:

Who's Who in Irish horticulture
Growtrade offers a Who's Who to suppliers of products and services in Ireland's horticulture industry, searchable by Location
and Category.
This system aims to:

Offer retail buyers a single online point of comparison for horticulture produce
- standardise the presentation of images and data
- enhance the quality of nursery marketing materials
- deliver a streamlined supply chain to retail buyers
Growtrade is currently implementing a pilot project with a controlled group of nurseries
and retail buyers. When testing is complete, the Growtrade system will be open to ALL
interested trade customers via controlled login.
